Illegal Immigrants Sue Wendy’s
October 8th, 2006 . by ChrisDublin, Ohio-based Wendy’s International is being sued by illegal immigrants who worked for their subsidiary Cafe Express for being fired. Why? Wendy’s lawyers forgot to file paperwork that would have allowed them to gain citizenship, so according to law, they had to be let go. It’s a darned if you do, darned if you don’t scenario.
