Sphere: Related ContentSo far this year, tax revenues total $1.505 trillion, an increase of 11.2 percent over the same period last year. That figure includes $383.6 billion collected in April, the largest monthly tax collection on record. Is this something we are supposed to celebrate – big government taking from individuals??? The pressing question is what could have been accomplished if that property was left in the hands of those who earned it? Instead we have a government spending money as if there is no end to the supply. Perhaps they see the Chinese as a limitless source of borrowing and the American citizen as a sheep for endless fleecing.
