How Can Bush Bring Democracy to Iraq When He Brings Tyranny to America?

May 28th, 2007 . by admin

by Paul Craig Roberts–The Washington, DC, think-tank, The American Enterprise Institute, camouflages its purpose with its name. Its real name should be The Center for Middle East War.

AEI has the largest collection of warmongers in America. AEI “scholars” have agitated for war in the Middle East for years. A moronic president and 9/11 gave th

Using the Power of Digg to Hold the Senate Accountable

May 28th, 2007 . by admin

An anonymous Republican Senator has placed a secret hold on the Open Government Act. Ironically, the purpose of this act is to strengthen the Freedom of Information Act. This post explains a plan to use the power of the Internet to determine which Senator is at fault. The American people deserve to know. Digg: Let’s get to the bottom of this.

Fixing what’s wrong with Iraq

May 21st, 2007 . by Robert

As it turned out, Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction, no al-Qaeda activity, and no ability to attack the United States. Regardless of this, however, when we look at the original authorization for the use of force it is clearly obvious that our military has met both objectives. Our military very quickly removed the regime of Saddam Hussein, against whom the United Nations resolutions were targeted. A government approved by the United States has been elected in post-Saddam Iraq, fulfilling the first objective of the authorization.

Presidential Candidate Ron Paul Soars Ahead of the Pack

May 20th, 2007 . by Robert

While the mainstream media outlets continue to ignore Congressman Ron Paul in his bid for the White House, it seems that mainstream America is still able to hear his position and is increasingly lending their support. Congressman Paul has surpassed all other candidates in internet subscriptions, following, views, and support.

http://www.ronpaul2008.typepad.com/

Don’t let big media and the Washington insiders determine either the candidates or the results of this election by telling us who we can hear and who we can’t!

Most candidates are endowed with some messianic message or vision based on the big five issues [terrorism, abortion, immigration, economy, health care]. Some possess that same vision cloaked in shrouds of false heroism and contrived patriotism over a backdrop of rhetorical assertions and well rehearsed indignation. None of those individuals or congress, for that matter, can improve anything with more government intervention. If we stop and think about it, government involvement has created most of our problems to start with. How is more of the same poison going to cure the ailment?

Totalitarian government throughout history have wrought their own destruction. It is mind-boggling that otherwise intelligent Americans can support candidates seeking more government and fewer individual rights. The independence movement of the colonies was driven by individual rights, the civil rights movement of the ’60s was fueled by individual rights, the internet age may well be the savior of individual rights. We must not give up those rights to men and women who are quick to protect government power with the sacrifice of individuals and their rights.

Who Controls the Media

May 19th, 2007 . by Robert

In this internet age with the availability of information and ease with which individuals can do research, the traditional media outlets seem to be imploding under the weight of self-imposed mistrust, flagrant misinformation, and unabashed bias. Case in point: Presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul. Ron Paul has the record, the understanding of limited government, a keen insight into foreign relations, the knowledge of what money is and how a free market system should work, and the strength to stand alone while protecting the founding principles of this nation against ever growing government and corporate integration. The only thing Congressman Paul lacks is the backing of the media and big-government neo-cons. Maybe that’s a good thing…

Open letter to Mr. Anuzi - Chairman of the Michigan GOP

May 17th, 2007 . by Robert

The following is an open letter to the Michigan GOP for their outrageous comments about barring an elected Congressman from further debates because he doesn’t buy into the egocentric foreign policy that has produced “blowback” more than
once.

Please feel free to email the Michigan GOP and ask them to refrain from censorship and restrictions on legitimate opinion. They are attempting to purge any open discussion and exploration of cause and effect. They choose to bury their heads in the rhetoric and continue believing the lies that got us into another undeclared and unconstitutional conflict.

The following is an email to the Michigan GOP assistant for Mr. Anuzi:

Rob,

Please pass this message along to Mr. Anuzi for me.

DO NOT Attempt to bar Congressman Ron Paul from any debates. The Congressman’s comments clearly demonstrate a knowledge and deep understanding of history and reprecussions of an egocentric foreign policy.

It is you Mr. Anuzi who fail to recognize the fact and history behind Congressman Pauls comments.

The only way a Republican will occupy the White House is for all Republicans to get behind Congressman Paul. He is the only one with a clearly limited government message.
Congressman Paul is the only Republican that has a clear message that is being well received by the public. My goodness man… look at the MSNBC, the CNN, and the Fox polls. Even after Fox News so obviously tried to torpedo Congressman Paul, he still took a resounding second in their poll. Clearly Congressman Paul is well received by the public.

If anyone should be barred from the debates or the party it is Rudy Guliani because of his involvement with the Spanish company Centra and their insider track to construction of the NAFTA Super Corridor.

Sincerely,

Robert Cressionnie

Michigan Republican Party Chair Wants Ron Paul barred from future debates….

May 17th, 2007 . by admin

Well, Mr Saul Anuzi? What do you have to say for yourself, because you’re not a shining example of our democratic electoral process?

Please take time to call the Michigan GOP offices and be sure to DEMAND to talk to Michigan party chairman Saul Anuzis. Here’s the number:

517-487-5413

Mr. Anuzis is out of town today, but the secretary who answers will pass you off to “Rob” who is one of Mr. Anuzis’s assistants.

Mr. “Rob’s” email address is: rob@migop.org

Please call, call and call again and again until you get through in person to Mr. Anuzis. The American people should be apalled at what Mr. Anuzis is attempting; to remove the one last remaining conservative-constitutional voices of truth, freedom and liberty in
America, Ron Paul. Mr. Anuzis is attempting to take away Mr. Paul’s right to free speech which is protected under the 1st Amendment of our Constitution. This is a blatantly despicable political move which should not be tolerated in America.

Also realize that Mr. Anuzis is attempting to quash Ron Paul’s message in favor of supporting the British Queen’s knight, Sir Rudy Giuliani. For the Republic Party to allow Sir Rudy to run is a direct violation of Article 1 Sec. 9 of our Constitution which prohibits him from running for office:

“No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.”
