China protests U.S. block on Chinese seafood

June 30th, 2007 . by admin

China is screaming bloody murder for the US blocking “indiscriminently” of several varieties of seafood. The safety scandals have put at risk surging Chinese agricultural exports to the United States, which reached $2.26 billion last year, led by poultry products, sausage casings, shellfish, spices and apple juice. What I would like to know is why our farmers can’t do this in our own country. Why does the US continue to import food that we should be able to grow right here in our own backyard? Government subsidies and cheap labor are two culprits.

Cloture on Immigration Bill DEFEATED!

June 28th, 2007 . by admin

Well, we’ve won a small victory in keeping some traitorous Senators in Congress from furthering the amnesty of 12 million plus illegal immigrants residing in this country.  See how your Senators voted here.

Supporters failed to get the 60 votes needed, not even reaching a simple majority. With the vote being 46-53, there’s no way they can get this bill passed now. Thanks to all out there who faxed, emailed, wrote and called their Senators. You did an outstanding job.

But let’s not get to complacent. Let’s continue to keep the pressure on Congress to make sure they never pass anything so dastardly again. Immigration isn’t the only thing we have to fight. We have to make sure the North American Union never passes.

We are a free people and times like these remind us of how easy it is to lose that freedom.

Farm Odors Contribute to Global Warming? Sounds like BS…

June 28th, 2007 . by admin

Due to reports released by the USDA, when you smell cow manure, you’re smelling greenhouse gas emissions. $20 million dollars in federal grant/taxpayer money is being awarded to participating farms who apply and are accepted. This is just another way the Federal government will clamp down with further stiff environmental policy that harms farmers

National Borders to be erased for new airlines plan

June 26th, 2007 . by admin

With the NASCO Super Corridor, running from Mexico to Canada, the borders will be erased for trucks and railroads. And this will take care of the air traffic! If this plan goes through, American airlines will have to compete with Mexican & Canadian airlines. This is all part of the North American Union – a plan to merge Mexico and Canada.

Senator Burr to Vote For Cloture

June 26th, 2007 . by admin

According to an email from William Gheen, President of American’s For Legal Immigration, Senator Burr is to vote YES to the first Cloture today in the Senate on the massive amnesty bill designed by the Kennedy/Kyl cabal in Washington, D.C.

Burr stated he wanted the see the “process and work” take place, meaning all the Senators get to offer amendments and heavily modify the bill from it’s current form. Bad legislation is BAD LEGISLATION. If Senator Burr knew how to do his job, according to the oath he took, he could recognize this is an atrocious bill that will have long-lasting effects on the American people, economically and environmentally.

But maybe Burr knows it’s bad for Americans, but good for his corporate sponsors in Congress. Just like any high-paid athlete with endorsements, he has to conduct himself in a manner, so they continue to support him in representing their product; cheap labor and high profits.

Now even though Burr may say there’s a 10% chance he would support a final passage of the bill, his track record of fence-sitting and then jumping on the bandwagon at the last possible chance does not inspire one’s confidence. We still remember the CAFTA vote, Senator Burr.

Another interesting thing Gheen asked Senator Burr about was the North American Union and the Security and Prosperity Perimeter. Burr stated he didn’t know what that was?

A likely story…

If Burr is ignorant of the NAU/SPP. Please contact his offices and let them know what the NAU/SPP is and how it will end what’s left of America, as we know it.

NAHB has it wrong again!

June 26th, 2007 . by Robert

The NAHB North American Home Builders Association is once again way off base. The NAHB is touted as being the spokesman for American builders but has demonstrated time and again the core philosophy that profit outweighs principle any day of the week. We saw the NAHB turn a blind eye to the threat of the CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) provisions giving unfair advantage to foreign companies entering local building markets. Now the NAHB has it wrong again. With the addition of a single amendment to the ill-conceived immigration reform bill(s) in the Senate (S.1348 and S.1639), the NAHB now endorses the legislation. A single amendment can’t fix a bill that is flawed from inception. History has proven that bad legislation that is dressed up a little to facilitate passage is still bad legislation.

The NAHB operates some programs to assist small builders but ultimately represents those mega builders who profit from low cost immigrant (and illegal immigrant) laborers.

While all this commotion is going on let’s not forget that the NAU (North American Union) is still being fast tracked under the radar and will trump all immigration laws if allowed to go into effect.

Senator Burr For Amnesty? Maybe…

June 25th, 2007 . by admin

The latest from William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration, says that he’s traveling to Washington, D.C. to personally hold an audience with Senator Burr regarding his fence-sitting stance on bills, until it benefits him…er, I mean his constituents, especially on this immigration bill. S. 1348 and the new S. 1369 are nothing, but amnesty bills. Polls have overwhelmingly shown that LEGAL Americans want enforcement of already existing immigration laws, not more laws that will grant amnesty to the estimated 10-20 million illegal immigrants living in the country.

Here’s a snapshot of an ALIPAC email blast:

Senator Burr has ordered his staff to tell you that he “Does not support the bill in its current form”, however, he is deep in negotiations with the White House and big business lobby, and has told them he will support the bill if they add a ‘touchback’ provision. This touchback provision is a complete con job because the illegals only have to leave for a day anytime over the next 8 years and can quickly return to the US saying, “Look I came in legally, what’s your problem?” This info was reported by Congress Daily.

Read about the rest of the article on ALIPAC’s Web Site here

It’s time to put pressure on Senator Burr and let him know WHO he really calls the shots in this country. The American people. Use the contact information to let him know what you think.
