More Bush double standards!

July 4th, 2007 . by Robert

Bush commutes Libby’s rightful sentence and yet refuses to pardon or even commute the unjust sentences of two border patrol agents. Libby compromised the security of the United States while Ramos and Compean accosted an illegal alien drug smuggler that was most likely armed. This is justice in the good ol’ U.S.of Bush. The reason often given for two border patrol agents rotting in prison is that “they were guilty.” But, I guess good old Scooter wasn’t. The agents may have broken hand-tying administrative policy but Scooter and others have broken the trust and security of the American people.

Al Gore – Do as I say, not as I do…

July 3rd, 2007 . by Robert

Al Gore with his tattered lance and and sway-backed nag seems to have forgotten that closing one’s eyes, clicking one’s heels together and believing really, really hard does not make something true. Sorry for the Don Quixote and Wizard of Oz references but I couldn’t resist. Well, England has put more government regulation on it’s people in order to save 600 people a year that die from second-hand smoke. Businesses will be fined $1000 and more for not displaying signage and people who “light” one up in public buildings, pubs and other places will be fined $400 US dollars/200 British pounds.

July 1st, 2007 . by admin

The largest “Free” trade deal since the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1994 is yet to be ratified by Congress, which has concerns about Americans losing jobs.
