“One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters Tuesday, stressing the need to pass the Democrats’ comprehensive energy package.

Politicizing a tragedy for hundreds of thousands in California, that is usually caused by human error (unmanned fires) or natural cause (lightning plus drought conditions) is just another tactic of idiotic politicians justifying ridiculous legislation.

Global warming had nothing to do with this fire, but I think the heat is obviously affecting Senator Reid’s thought process.
