October 24th – United Nations Day – A Day Unworthy of Celebration

October 24th, 2007 . by admin

October 24, declared in 1948 by the United Nations itself, is known as United Nations Day.  A day “devoted to making known to peoples of the world the aims and achievements of the United Nations Organization.”

Some of the “achievements” of this illustrious organization include the Oil-For-Food scandal and it’s Child Sex Scandal. None of the perpetrators have been brought to justice, including Kofi Annan’s son for his role in bilking millions through the Oil-For-Food scandal.

One of the United Nations’ goals was to rid the world of war. Since it’s inceptions at least 150 wars have broken out, the majority in developing countries, some wars lasting over a decade.

Where’s the U.N. seems more like Where’s Waldo? when you read the following:

The U.N. bilks millions from the US Taxpayer in the form of membership dues, which in turn, continues to fund a brazen path of death and destruction at the hands of corrupt tin-pot dictators with a resume of human rights abuses that make even Joseph Stalin look like an amateur.

It’s time for the politicians and bureaucratic trolls in Washington, D.C. to resign from the United Nations and to evict them from the UN headquarters in New York, NY. The realization that the United Nations is and will continue to be a drain on the United States financially and polictically, cannot come too soon for Americans.

United Nations Day is unworthy of remembrance.
