The US dollar is still officially the world’s reserve currency, but it cannot purchase the services of Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen. Gisele required the $30 million she earned during the first half of this year to be paid in euros.
Gisele is not alone in her forecast of the dollar’s fate.

With a grant from the Earth Day Foundation, faculty at Rancho Elementary are teaching kids how to save the earth from global warming. Through plays and skits they teach the kids conservation efforts, but it’s short on the critical thinking skills needed to discern fact from hype.

More than 25 percent of the homeless population in the United States are war veterans, although they represent only 11 percent of the civilian adult population, according to a report to be released Thursday.
