On Saturday November 14, 2009, a small group of dedicated Americans turned out to brave the weather and listen to several speakers at the second of two Tea Parties held by the Roanoke Valley Patriots. The Roanoke Valley Patriots didn’t call on neo-conservative ex-bureaucrats or failed politicians to woo disillusioned Republicans back into the fold of a failed party; they called on dedicated Americans to speak from the heart, to motivate true patriots to act and think as individuals on a grass roots level, and to send a strong message to Washington. An enthusiastic crowd of around 100 gathered at Collier Harley Davidson in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina to send the message that we’re tired of government expansion and endless hikes in taxes.
Mr. Obama may call them names but history will count them as the dedicated few who chose to stand up and be counted. While the long established elite and the leftist liberals may be well entrenched in their propaganda and money collecting machine, the patriotic Tea Party movement has decentralization on their side. There are no national organizations orchestrating this movement, no charismatic politicians leading this movement, and no main target to be attacked, infiltrated, and coerced away from the mission. This is and needs to remain a movement of average, ordinary, and independent citizens with the common bond of liberty.
There were no Republicans in the crowd, no Democrats, no anarchists, or extremists, and no anti-government radicals. No, this was a crowd made up of Americans; proud of their nation, their heritage, and their liberty. This was a crowd of Americans who understand that it’s never the masses who accomplish change. Throughout history the masses have always been manipulated under tyranny. It has always been the dedicated few who made the difference. There may not have been national media coverage but the message goes out, being amplified by every small town rally until the roar can’t be ignored by Washington. That roar will be heard loud and clear in the upcoming elections. This is for the long haul. While some weak in spirit may fall by the wayside, the dedicated few will persevere. Our nation did not get into the shape it’s in overnight and it will not be changed overnight. We must brace for the long and tiring effort, and this is only the beginning.
Our gratitude goes out to Pat Croisetiere, Collier Harley Davidson, and the others who helped in organizing this rally and all those who spoke from the heart. And our special appreciation goes out to all those who stood the cold, damp winds to listen, to think, and to be part of history.

While President Obama may stoop to name calling when he called it the teabag movement of anti-government extremists (maybe he has some kinky fascination…), we know that the Tea Party movement is about mainstream Americans fed up with excessive and out of control government. The movement is not anti-government as Mr. Obama says it is, but is anti-stupidity and complacence. We as a nation can not afford more government and yet 220 congressmen voted to rip over a $trillion$ dollars from our hands so that they can, as some say, be part of history. Next election many of them will be history!
The Roanoke Valley Patriots are holding a Tea Party Rally in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Date: Saturday 14 November 2009
Location: Roanoke Rapids
Collier Harley Davidson (across from Wal-Mart) I-95 Exit 173

NC Senator Kay Hagan is a typical waffling bureaucrat weighing whether supporting this disastrous government take over of health care will cost her the seat.
It is quickly coming down to the debate over inane provisions and whether the Democrats or the Republicans have the better way. The bottom line is that neither party has the better plan. Both the Democrat and the Republican scams are bad news for us as individuals. Both plans will result in a broader provision of decreasing quality health care.
Whether you support the Constitutional position or not, you have to admit that government must have some boundaries or else it will simply morph into a totalitarian oppressor with great assumed and destructive powers. We have seen where unchecked monetary policy, foreign policy, and domestic security policies are slowly eroding our individual liberties in the name of government control and central planning.
We must put pressure on Senator Hagan to vote against this convoluted ill-conceived plan to allow bureaucrats to determine your health options while demanding tribute from each for the privilege of having it forced down our throats.

With all the focus on potential domestic terrorists, with all the surveillance, phone-taps, browser snooping, and with all the tax dollars spent on creating and maintaining a Department of Homeland Security and Security Czar, one simply must ask: how can this happen? Apparently the CIA failed to get the memo about Homeland Security coordinating between all existing agencies to prevent acts of terrorism or is it that I just didn’t understand part of legislation (or propaganda briefs) used to sell DHS and the lies about being the main player in coordinating information and action between the alphabet soup of agencies. The CIA says they had fore knowledge of a dedicated Muslim seeking to contact al Qaeda. Not just an ordinary Muslim but a Major in the U.S. Army. So, just because some idiot wanna-be spook refuses to report the fact that a U.S. Army Major is seeking to communicate with an enemy, a psycho-muslim is allowed to kill and wound numerous Americans, not just on American soil but on an Army post on top of that.
These moron islamo-terrorist need to be stopped at first knowledge rather than waiting for additional information or leads. No domestic terrorist = no terrorist act. It’s not rocket science. If you eliminate the extremists like Hasan there is no sleeper that can help organize terrorism.
All this kinda makes one wonder just how much fore-knowledge existed prior to 9-11???
The apologists are worried that there may be a backlash against Muslim soldiers; just wait for the persecution of gun owners by the leftists liberals in Washington and elsewhere.

It appears that the tinfoil hat award needs to be handed out to all the Obama supporters and the Chicago Tribune who see the re-make of V as being directed at Obama. This is the remake of a 1980s mini series. Seems that paranoia runs deep when you support those doing wrong.
The plot of V is nothing new. Throughout history there have always been those who seek total control. The technology of implementation may change but the intent is always the sama – total control by a small group of elite freaks.
