Typical Leftist Insurrection

September 28th, 2009 . by Robert

The unrest in Honduras so perfectly fits the pattern of leftist insurrection that even those with little or no knowledge of such plots should be able to recognize it for what it is.

The plot goes something like this:

-A corrupt leader who is somewhat popular becomes power hungry.
-The U.S. and international community see the leader as a useful tool for their own mischief and mayhem.
-Pro-liberty forces within the country oust the corrupt yet well-connected leader.
-The global news outlets report sensationalized (and often fabricated) stories of the horrors the interim government is committing.
-There is an outpouring of support for the deposed corrupt leader by neighboring leftist/socialist/communist national governments and usually the U.S. government as well.
-Leftist/socialist/communist provocateurs are sent in to recruit willing dupes, incite rebellion, and goad police into harsh responses.
-The U.S. and international community bring sanctions to bear on the interim government.
-(New twist for the internet age) Blogs and internet posts by Hondurans revealing the true sentiments of the people are suppressed, with all the blame being placed on the interim government. Internet sources in the U.S. supporting the deposed corrupt leader are given great credibility and support by tax-free foundations and our own government.
-Demands are made to reinstate the former corrupt leader.
-The global news outlets report about supposed huge support (that really doesn’t exist) for the former corrupt leader.
-More leftist/socialist/communist provocateurs and outsiders are brought in to deceive the people into ever more violent rebellion.
-The willing dupes descend into ever more violent protests.
-The interim government, in attempts to restore order, takes harsh measures to quell the leftist incited violent rebellion.
-The U.S. and the international community condemn the interim government.
-The U.N. steps in to facilitate the reinstatement of the corrupt former leader.
-The global news outlets report how wonderful everything is now that order is restored.

It’s a pattern that has been repeated time after time with the assistance in many cases of our own CIA and other covert agencies. It’s been called regime change by our Presidents and nation building by others. The reality is that it is deception.

All this could have been averted by our government simply recognizing the interim government in their legal removal of a corrupt and power hungry leftist.

You can bet that if Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Lula De Silva, and the OAS are supporting Zelaya, there’s something rotten in Honduras.

Good luck to those supporting liberty and the rule of law in Honduras. They’ll need it with the U.S. and the world against them.

Simply Another Outrage!

September 25th, 2009 . by Robert

John Kerry’s proposal to use defense dollars for a tribute to the late enemy of individual liberty and proponent of big government Ted Kennedy is an absolute outrage.

The man was involved in the questionable death of a young girl, numerous scandals, and all sorts of government mischief and absolutely deserves no tax dollar funded tribute.

If there are enough people that blindly think the man great, let them take up a collection and pay for it – NOT THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER!

Who’s Too Big to Fail Now?

September 24th, 2009 . by Robert

There are those who have worked for many years to educate the public about the loose monetary policies of an independent bank controlling the money supply of the U.S. There are those who have worked for years to educate the public about the dangers of too much government. Only now are many waking up as these thing hit them where it hurts. The tea party movement is a prime example of that although it’s being co-opted before our very eyes by neo-con politicians and organizations.

Now the chickens have returned to roost. The current administration, along with the previous administrations have allowed their elitist handlers to drive us into disasterous public policy that has shaken the world’s confidence in the U.S. dollar.

The continued printing of money is the problem. While schools and universities teach that inflation is simply rising prices, there are many of us who understand that rising prices is the response to inflation of the money supply. A supply backed simply by the faith and credit of the U.S. Government. A faith and credit that has lost much credibility in the eyes of the world because of its stupidity in maintaining a too big to fail policy in bailing out big companies with sorry management and using unbacked, printed money to do so.

It’s not rocket science to understand that it’s just bad policy!

The question now is who will bail U.S. out now because surely we’re too big to fail?

Oh Nancy…sob…sob… I’m with you!!!

September 17th, 2009 . by Robert

I for one am not very moved by Nancy Pelosi’s near tearful plea that we curb our enthusiasm in the political debate because there could be violence.

Nancy please! If you are referring to the tea party attendees or the town hall protestors, these are essentially everyday citizens that you’re talking about. It’s not the rabid leftists of the 60s and 70s or the union thugs and provocateurs hired by the DNC, ACORN, and other tax funded organizations to disrupt townhall meetings.

… and what’s with the near tearful delivery??????????

Nancy Pelosi is tough as nails and if anyone thinks she is that emotionally broken up by the non-existent threat of violence you really need a healthy dose of reality.

Ms. Pelosi, like all liberal/leftist is simply upset that the ordinary citizens of this nation are fed up with the likes of her and her cohorts in Washington.

Think you’re not on a list…

September 17th, 2009 . by Robert

If you disapprove of the current administration’s actions, policies, or direction and chose to post that information to the internet, you may well be on the list of people doing so.

Long reported by various fringe groups, there are in fact lists that have been and are being compiled by various federal agencies. Some of us may remember the controversy when Nixon used federal resources to compile a political enemy list, J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI were/are fond of lists, the Clintons accessed IRS records to compile their list, we have no-fly lists, potential domestic terrorist lists, and (no pun intended) the list goes on.

Now, as reported by the Washington Times, we have an administration appearing somewhat paranoid in their twisting of federal law to say they are required to compile and maintain a list of those objecting to administration policies.

I don’t have a problem with the administration surfing the internet to get a feel for public opinion, I don’t have a problem with the administration putting together packages of internet content for use in accessing the amount of opposition or support for policies, I don’t even have a problem with the administration saving some of the information for later reference in determining course for future policies. I do, however, have a serious problem with the compilation of lists that can be used to single out individuals or groups.

However innocent the gathering of this information may seem initially, there will always be those in the government who will gain access to and use such lists for nefarious purposes.

Governments like those of Chavez in Venezuela, Castro in Cuba, Ahmadinejad in Iran, etc. generally compile lists of their detractors, in the United States this is unforgivable.

Add this to the attempts to force radical over-reaching growth in government and we appear to have a government that is out of control and rapidly attempting to establish a totalitarian regime.

Oops… I guess I just earned another entry on the list!

Stealing and misappropriation – O.K., sexual misconduct – you’re history

September 10th, 2009 . by Robert

California Assemblyman Mike Duvall R-Yorba Linda has been ousted because of overheard comments about his sexual escapades with female Lobbyist of legal age. While this conduct of bragging about his conquests and his immorality in conducting those conquests is certainly grounds for voters to eject him at the next election on poor character grounds, it seems very trivial when we have a Barbara Boxer in Washington chairing a committee directing money to her husband’s company, Charles Rangel failing to report millions in income, Geitner with income tax issues, a Sachs Goldman director given a one year waiver of conflict of interest so he can direct who gets TARP money, etc.

It does make for some juicy gossip but we really need to direct our attention to the corruption that impacts us and our nation every day.

Chavez wants to help Mr. Obama

September 8th, 2009 . by Robert

It appears that the media, Oliver Stone, Hillary Clinton, Mr. Obama and the free-speech restricting leftist dictator Hugo Chavez think the general public is pretty gullible. Being fortunate in having a reliable source from Venezuela, one who still has family in Venezuela, has provided some credible insight into the methods of that socialist regime. While Oliver Stone claims that Chavez is maligned in the U.S., the reality is that he is running a typical leftist dictatorial regime complete with confiscation of property, land, and savings. He is no saint to his people and the reports of protests are beginning to see the light of day.

It seems that promoting leftist causes by Oliver Stone, Michael Moore, and other assorted hollywood refuse is cause de jour… although it probably always has been.

We know that both Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama received training in leftist Saul Alinsky’s organizations. Given the leftist training of both our Secretary of State and our President is there any wonder why Mr. Chavez wants to help them?

It’s no surprise with socialists in Washington

September 5th, 2009 . by Robert

The ongoing support of ousted Honduran president Zalaya by the Obama administration is really no surprise when you consider that both Obama and Hillary were trained by leftist organizer Saul Alinsky. It is questionable why the Administration would attempt to subvert a legitimate action taken by the Honduran Congress and Supreme Court. If we look closely at the CNN yellow journalism with their near hysterical and absolutely false reports of an eight year old child gunned down by government forces for protesting the ouster of Zalaya, we can see a pattern emerge that has been used over and over again. The supposed weapons of mass destruction, the Tonkin Gulf Incident, the proposed Operation Northwood, and others too numerous to mention were all intended to control public opinion thus providing the impetus for unconstitutional government action. Don’t be surprised if we see a sudden crisis take place to provide Washington with their desired emotional push by the unthinking masses for the health care takeover.

Joe Biden apparently doesn’t understand his duties…

September 4th, 2009 . by Robert

With the absence of Mr. Obama, Vice President Joe Biden is tooting his own horn about his part in the un-Constitutional bail out scams in which Goldman Sachs personnel have been given the reins in controlling which of their competitors are allowed to fail (Bear Stearns) and which of their debtors (AIG) are bailed out with tax dollars.

Mr. Biden is singing his own praises about the good that he has done in this scam while the realities set in that the economy would have recovered on its own, and that allowing the failure of poorly managed companies would have opened opportunity in the markets for smaller well managed companies.

Mr. Biden seems to forget this: “I, Joseph Biden, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Little he has done since he took office is toward the protection and preservation of our Constitution. The Constitution is a limitation on government power. What he, Mr. Obama, the Senate, and the House are doing is exactly the opposite. They are increasing the power, scope, and size of government – all of which can only be done with the sacrifice of individual liberty and wealth.
