Muir Beach resident Sigward Moser says he was threatened with a Taser gun, forced to the ground and handcuffed by a National Park Service ranger for refusing to stop cleaning up the oily beach beneath his home. He said he was forced to sprawl handcuffed on the wet sand for an hour before he was released and given two misdemeanor citations.

So far this year, tax revenues total $1.505 trillion, an increase of 11.2 percent over the same period last year. That figure includes $383.6 billion collected in April, the largest monthly tax collection on record. Is this something we are supposed to celebrate – big government taking from individuals??? The pressing question is what could have been accomplished if that property was left in the hands of those who earned it? Instead we have a government spending money as if there is no end to the supply. Perhaps they see the Chinese as a limitless source of borrowing and the American citizen as a sheep for endless fleecing.
