An investigation by The Sunday Telegraph found that three quarters of local authorities have used the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000 over the past year. Just when you think a candidate can’t come up with a more destructive, wasteful, and unneeded program, in rides the ONE with a scam to bankrupt an industry that helps fuels productivity in this nation. Obama thinks nothing of ushering in the new carbon cap and trade scheme that will result in destroying or bankrupting (as Obama says laughingly) the coal industry. It’s all fine and well to explore alternative technologies but when you destroy one industry under the ridiculous plan of having the industry being destroyed finance the development of new technology there seems to be a missing cog… as the coal industry is being destroyed there will be an ever decreasing source of funding with which to develop the new technology. I guess this is the typical slave master mentality where the slave is worked to death. The big problem is when you run out of slaves. Looks like Obama plans to run through the supply of slaves pretty quickly!

I was recently asked, with the probable election of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, if we as a nation would descend into the depths of socialism?
First we need to consider exactly what socialism encompasses. Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society. We have state ownership of industries being implemented, we are seeing oversight agencies being proposed, and the transfer of wealth through taxation/tax credits/tax rebates with even more such proposals by the democrat and republican presidential candidates. Given those things taking place it’s not a far stretch to see this as the fruition of the progressive income tax, central banking, and the abdication of control of our money by congress with the creation of the Federal Reserve.
We are at a juncture in history where we are seeing firsthand the bloodless socialist takeover of industry and this nation. The transfer of wealth and the unconstitutional transfer of authority between the branches of government and various government and non-government agencies is blatant. The promises of the democrat and republican presidential candidates not only far exceed their rightful authority but are so economically outlandish that even brainwashed school children should see through them. Are we becoming a socialist nation - NO, I’m afraid we already are one.
Is there a best choice between the lesser of two evils or more appropriately the evil of two lessers? Not if you have any principles. The only choice for a principled individual is to make your vote count by casting it for either the Constitution Party Candidate - Chuck Baldwin or the Libertarian candidate - Bob Barr or even some other third party candidate. Sometimes standing on principle requires you to stand alone. You only throw your vote away when you vote for an evil or a lesser. Winning is little consolation when that winning team continues the downfall of a once great and still potentially great nation. A strong statement of disgust with the status quo demonstrated by voting for third party candidates will have a far greater effect than the media and politicians want us to believe.

The Wall Street-Treasury-Federal Reserve axis is hated, loathed and feared by these people, who were, as far as I could tell, largely Republicans, almost all well to do — or formerly well to do. They are in a state of extreme agitation about how the current mismanagement of our financial system has played havoc with their own personal finances
