I can think of MANY reasons why Congressman Bob Etheridge (NC-2) shouldn’t be in office, but THIS video of his ASSAULT of some students who want to ask him some questions is one of the biggest displays of arrogance that I’ve ever seen. Bob Etheridge needs to GO BACK HOME!

Senator “Don’t Call me Ma’am” Boxer or should that be Senator “I’m heavily invested in businesses that stands to gain from any Cap and Trade legislation” Boxer. Either way, the Senator has once again shown her hideous and corrupt underside by trying to shoot the messenger and ignoring the urgent message. Yes, the stealing of email is criminal and I won’t try to justify that act; however, the more criminal acts are the deceptions taking place about global warming… er… climate change. Boxer, Obama, and a host of others refuse to look at the obvious tampering and manipulation of data to support anthropogenic global warming. When researchers throw away raw data and claim the manipulated or “value added” data is sufficient to prove their research, we have a serious breach in scientific method that any freshman chemistry student knows. Boxer is a danger to the American people and needs to be ejected from office at the earliest possible time. Maybe she’ll be reelected, maybe she won’t. One thing is for sure: the global warming scam is quickly unraveling. Based on my unadjusted opinion, Al “manbearpig” Gore and all his mindless dupes won’t be able to pull it back together again.
Like so many past journalists who have walked the thin line between criminality and reporting, perhaps we owe a little thanks to the hackers who revealed this information. Ultimately, I do think they should be tried and if convicted sentenced to five years of searching for more fraudulent hoaxers and criminal politicians. That would be a real community service!
While President Obama may stoop to name calling when he called it the teabag movement of anti-government extremists (maybe he has some kinky fascination…), we know that the Tea Party movement is about mainstream Americans fed up with excessive and out of control government. The movement is not anti-government as Mr. Obama says it is, but is anti-stupidity and complacence. We as a nation can not afford more government and yet 220 congressmen voted to rip over a $trillion$ dollars from our hands so that they can, as some say, be part of history. Next election many of them will be history!

The Roanoke Valley Patriots will be sending Christmas stockings to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan so please bring stocking stuffers for the men and women serving in those harsh zones. Small items mean a lot when far from home and the modern conveniences. Chapstick, athletic socks, packaged snacks, small bottles of shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brushes, etc. are most appreciated by our soldiers.

NC Senator Kay Hagan is a typical waffling bureaucrat weighing whether supporting this disastrous government take over of health care will cost her the seat.
It is quickly coming down to the debate over inane provisions and whether the Democrats or the Republicans have the better way. The bottom line is that neither party has the better plan. Both the Democrat and the Republican scams are bad news for us as individuals. Both plans will result in a broader provision of decreasing quality health care.
Whether you support the Constitutional position or not, you have to admit that government must have some boundaries or else it will simply morph into a totalitarian oppressor with great assumed and destructive powers. We have seen where unchecked monetary policy, foreign policy, and domestic security policies are slowly eroding our individual liberties in the name of government control and central planning.
We must put pressure on Senator Hagan to vote against this convoluted ill-conceived plan to allow bureaucrats to determine your health options while demanding tribute from each for the privilege of having it forced down our throats.
It appears that the tinfoil hat award needs to be handed out to all the Obama supporters and the Chicago Tribune who see the re-make of V as being directed at Obama. This is the remake of a 1980s mini series. Seems that paranoia runs deep when you support those doing wrong.
The plot of V is nothing new. Throughout history there have always been those who seek total control. The technology of implementation may change but the intent is always the sama – total control by a small group of elite freaks.
Michingan Mom told she can’t have neighborhood kids wait for the school bus at her house without a license from the state.
The bureaucrat that sent the warning letter to her should be fired. The law should be reviewed and the drafters of the original legislation should be tarred and feathered! O.K. maybe that’s a little harsh.
At the very least, a review of such policies needs to be completed and the bureaucracies need to be restrained in such cases of utter nonsense.
There are supposed to be directors, managers, case workers, and review mechanisms in place that can oversee and step in when the idiot proofing fails. This is a common problem in bureaucracies where a rigid adherence to the written rule supplants all possibility of the use of practical sense.
Have organizations where practical sense and critical thinking are valued become extinct?
The unrest in Honduras so perfectly fits the pattern of leftist insurrection that even those with little or no knowledge of such plots should be able to recognize it for what it is.
The plot goes something like this:
-A corrupt leader who is somewhat popular becomes power hungry.
-The U.S. and international community see the leader as a useful tool for their own mischief and mayhem.
-Pro-liberty forces within the country oust the corrupt yet well-connected leader.
-The global news outlets report sensationalized (and often fabricated) stories of the horrors the interim government is committing.
-There is an outpouring of support for the deposed corrupt leader by neighboring leftist/socialist/communist national governments and usually the U.S. government as well.
-Leftist/socialist/communist provocateurs are sent in to recruit willing dupes, incite rebellion, and goad police into harsh responses.
-The U.S. and international community bring sanctions to bear on the interim government.
-(New twist for the internet age) Blogs and internet posts by Hondurans revealing the true sentiments of the people are suppressed, with all the blame being placed on the interim government. Internet sources in the U.S. supporting the deposed corrupt leader are given great credibility and support by tax-free foundations and our own government.
-Demands are made to reinstate the former corrupt leader.
-The global news outlets report about supposed huge support (that really doesn’t exist) for the former corrupt leader.
-More leftist/socialist/communist provocateurs and outsiders are brought in to deceive the people into ever more violent rebellion.
-The willing dupes descend into ever more violent protests.
-The interim government, in attempts to restore order, takes harsh measures to quell the leftist incited violent rebellion.
-The U.S. and the international community condemn the interim government.
-The U.N. steps in to facilitate the reinstatement of the corrupt former leader.
-The global news outlets report how wonderful everything is now that order is restored.
It’s a pattern that has been repeated time after time with the assistance in many cases of our own CIA and other covert agencies. It’s been called regime change by our Presidents and nation building by others. The reality is that it is deception.
All this could have been averted by our government simply recognizing the interim government in their legal removal of a corrupt and power hungry leftist.
You can bet that if Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Lula De Silva, and the OAS are supporting Zelaya, there’s something rotten in Honduras.
Good luck to those supporting liberty and the rule of law in Honduras. They’ll need it with the U.S. and the world against them.
There are those who have worked for many years to educate the public about the loose monetary policies of an independent bank controlling the money supply of the U.S. There are those who have worked for years to educate the public about the dangers of too much government. Only now are many waking up as these thing hit them where it hurts. The tea party movement is a prime example of that although it’s being co-opted before our very eyes by neo-con politicians and organizations.
Now the chickens have returned to roost. The current administration, along with the previous administrations have allowed their elitist handlers to drive us into disasterous public policy that has shaken the world’s confidence in the U.S. dollar.
The continued printing of money is the problem. While schools and universities teach that inflation is simply rising prices, there are many of us who understand that rising prices is the response to inflation of the money supply. A supply backed simply by the faith and credit of the U.S. Government. A faith and credit that has lost much credibility in the eyes of the world because of its stupidity in maintaining a too big to fail policy in bailing out big companies with sorry management and using unbacked, printed money to do so.
It’s not rocket science to understand that it’s just bad policy!
The question now is who will bail U.S. out now because surely we’re too big to fail?
I for one am not very moved by Nancy Pelosi’s near tearful plea that we curb our enthusiasm in the political debate because there could be violence.
Nancy please! If you are referring to the tea party attendees or the town hall protestors, these are essentially everyday citizens that you’re talking about. It’s not the rabid leftists of the 60s and 70s or the union thugs and provocateurs hired by the DNC, ACORN, and other tax funded organizations to disrupt townhall meetings.
… and what’s with the near tearful delivery??????????
Nancy Pelosi is tough as nails and if anyone thinks she is that emotionally broken up by the non-existent threat of violence you really need a healthy dose of reality.
Ms. Pelosi, like all liberal/leftist is simply upset that the ordinary citizens of this nation are fed up with the likes of her and her cohorts in Washington.
If you disapprove of the current administration’s actions, policies, or direction and chose to post that information to the internet, you may well be on the list of people doing so.
Long reported by various fringe groups, there are in fact lists that have been and are being compiled by various federal agencies. Some of us may remember the controversy when Nixon used federal resources to compile a political enemy list, J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI were/are fond of lists, the Clintons accessed IRS records to compile their list, we have no-fly lists, potential domestic terrorist lists, and (no pun intended) the list goes on.
Now, as reported by the Washington Times, we have an administration appearing somewhat paranoid in their twisting of federal law to say they are required to compile and maintain a list of those objecting to administration policies.
I don’t have a problem with the administration surfing the internet to get a feel for public opinion, I don’t have a problem with the administration putting together packages of internet content for use in accessing the amount of opposition or support for policies, I don’t even have a problem with the administration saving some of the information for later reference in determining course for future policies. I do, however, have a serious problem with the compilation of lists that can be used to single out individuals or groups.
However innocent the gathering of this information may seem initially, there will always be those in the government who will gain access to and use such lists for nefarious purposes.
Governments like those of Chavez in Venezuela, Castro in Cuba, Ahmadinejad in Iran, etc. generally compile lists of their detractors, in the United States this is unforgivable.
Add this to the attempts to force radical over-reaching growth in government and we appear to have a government that is out of control and rapidly attempting to establish a totalitarian regime.
Oops… I guess I just earned another entry on the list!
