Did U.S. Export Over 175 Million Ounces of Gold?

June 7th, 2009 . by admin

So, for 2007 and 2008 combined, the U.S. exported 22 million ounces of refined gold and over 154 million ounces of “compound gold.” This is more than 11 times U.S. gold mine production during those two years. In fact, this is higher than global gold mine output. Where did all this gold come from?

RUSSIAN ANALYST PREDICTS DECLINE AND BREAKUP OF USA

RUSSIAN ANALYST PREDICTS DECLINE AND BREAKUP OF USA
Tue Nov 25 2008 09:04:22 ET

A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily Izvestia published on Monday: “The dollar is not secured by anything. The country’s foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse.”

The paper said Panarin’s dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year’s events.

When asked when the U.S. economy would collapse, Panarin said: “It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world’s financial regulator.”

When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: “Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia.”

Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: “A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles.”

He also cited the “vulnerable political setup”, “lack of unified national laws”, and “divisions among the elite, which have become clear in these crisis conditions.”

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts – the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.

He even suggested that “we could claim Alaska – it was only granted on lease, after all.”

On the fate of the U.S. dollar, he said: “In 2006 a secret agreement was reached between Canada, Mexico and the U.S. on a common Amero currency as a new monetary unit. This could signal preparations to replace the dollar. The one-hundred dollar bills that have flooded the world could be simply frozen. Under the pretext, let’s say, that terrorists are forging them and they need to be checked.”

When asked how Russia should react to his vision of the future, Panarin said: “Develop the ruble as a regional currency. Create a fully functioning oil exchange, trading in rubles… We must break the strings tying us to the financial Titanic, which in my view will soon sink.”

Panarin, 60, is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has authored several books on information warfare.

A Wasted Vote

October 26th, 2008 . by admin

When asked why they will not vote for a third party candidate, many people will respond by saying something like, “He cannot win.” Or, “I don’t want to waste my vote.” Does that automatically mean, however, that every vote cast for one of the two major party candidates is not a wasted vote? I don’t think so.

Lyn Nofzinger: These Things I Believe

October 19th, 2008 . by admin

“These things I believe:
That government should butt out.
That freedom is our most precious commodity and if we are not eternally vigilant, government will take it all away.
That individual freedom demands individual responsibility.
That government is not a necessary good but an unavoidable evil.
That the executive branch has grown too strong, the judicial branch too arrogant and the legislative branch too stupid.
That political parties have become close to meaningless.
That government should work to insure the rights of the individual, not plot to take them away.
That government should provide for the national defense and work to insure domestic tranquillity.
That foreign trade should be fair rather than free.
That America should be wary of foreign entanglements.
That the tree of liberty needs to be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That guns do more than protect us from criminals; more importantly, they protect us from the ongoing threat of government.
That states are the bulwark of our freedom.
That states should have the right to secede from the Union.
That once a year we should hang someone in government as an example to his fellows.”

Kid’s Weekly Reader Bias In Schools Favor Two-Party System

October 16th, 2008 . by admin

I’m sure every parent who has a child in school is familiar with the Weekly Reader that comes home on occasion.  Well, the issue that came home with my child regarding the US Elections of 2008, specifically, the Presidential Election, disturbed my wife and I.

In the printed publication that is about 4 pages, the only “choice” given to the kids were Senator Barack Obama (D) and Senator John McCain (R).  There was no mention of Libertarian Party Candidate Bob Barr or Constitution Party Candidate Chuck Baldwin or any of the smaller parties that never gain any media attention, but are just as viable a candidate.

Further investigation of the web site, we see there is a small mention of third-parties in the “Ask Us Anything”.  They word the question: I know there are Democrats and I know there are Republicans.  But what is the group that group that is not called Republicans or Democrats? How many people belong to that group?  They mention how third parties have brought important issues up during elections, such as the Republican party being formed to oppose slavery and Lincoln was a member of the Republican party.

Again, there is scant mention of third parties, which further erodes their status in the minds of children and parents, who might actually venture on to the web site for further exploration.

What’s even more disturbing is this publication is widely used across the nation in schools to help “educate” children on various subjects.  But how can this be when they don’t present all sides of a subject that is of crucial importance that affects all of us?  How can the children make effective decisions if they are only given choice A and B, but you leave out C, D, E, F and G?

This is really evident when you look at the page to register the student’s votes,  the only option is Obama, McCain and Other.  How can a child put a name for Other, when they most likely haven’t been informed of the other candidates?

That’s where it’s up to us, the parents, to inform our children and make sure that there are viable choices out there other than Democrats and Republicans, regardless of what others say.

I suggest those of you reading this post and care about fair elections and fair choices, contact Weekly Reader and let them know they dropped the ball.
