Biden Blows Fuzzy Tax Math

October 29th, 2008 . by admin

First it’s people under $250K that get a tax break. Then you hear it’s less than $200K. Now, Joe Biden states people making less than $150K get a tax break. Say it ain’t so, Joe. Which is it? Soon, it will be only be people who make less then $42K. See a pattern here people? Typical political lies. Tax and spend. Tax and spend.

Biden Angered By Tough Questions

October 27th, 2008 . by admin

The Obama campaign whined about WFTV being “unprofessional” when it dared to dish out some tough questions to Vice President hopeful, Joe Biden.

The Obama spokesperson issued this statement about the interview:

“There’s nothing wrong with tough questions, but reporters have the very important job of sharing the truth with the public — not…

U.N. Crooks, Hope for an Obama Win

October 27th, 2008 . by admin

But, the UN Sect. General’s advisors say this:

“U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has avoided showing a public preference about the presidential campaign — although he has hinted at a soft spot for Obama in private gatherings, according to U.N. officials. His top advisers say they think McCain and Obama would support many of Ban’s priorities, including restraints on production of greenhouse gases that fuel climate change.”

So they think either candidate would be favorable to the United Nations. That’s even more frightening.

Obama/Democratic Party Programming Sign For The Masses

October 26th, 2008 . by Chris
Obama Campaign Programming Sign

Obama Campaign Programming Sign

I was visiting Roanoke Rapids, NC yesterday and happened to see this sign placed near one of the more impoverished areas in the city promoting “change”.  Obviously, signs such as this prey on uninformed voters and try to tell them that “our situation in the country will change, if you follow these three rules”.  Of course, it’s not a stretch to think Republican Party promoters wouldn’t push similar signs, though I’ve yet to see any.

Signs, such as these, dissuade the voter from critically thinking about the issues, the candidates and the election process itself.  It’s obvious that the promoters behind this sign are pulling out all the stops to have a Socialist in the White House to push whatever agenda they feel will benefit them.

A Wasted Vote

October 26th, 2008 . by admin

When asked why they will not vote for a third party candidate, many people will respond by saying something like, “He cannot win.” Or, “I don’t want to waste my vote.” Does that automatically mean, however, that every vote cast for one of the two major party candidates is not a wasted vote? I don’t think so.

Kid’s Weekly Reader Bias In Schools Favor Two-Party System

October 16th, 2008 . by admin

I’m sure every parent who has a child in school is familiar with the Weekly Reader that comes home on occasion.  Well, the issue that came home with my child regarding the US Elections of 2008, specifically, the Presidential Election, disturbed my wife and I.

In the printed publication that is about 4 pages, the only “choice” given to the kids were Senator Barack Obama (D) and Senator John McCain (R).  There was no mention of Libertarian Party Candidate Bob Barr or Constitution Party Candidate Chuck Baldwin or any of the smaller parties that never gain any media attention, but are just as viable a candidate.

Further investigation of the web site, we see there is a small mention of third-parties in the “Ask Us Anything”.  They word the question: I know there are Democrats and I know there are Republicans.  But what is the group that group that is not called Republicans or Democrats? How many people belong to that group?  They mention how third parties have brought important issues up during elections, such as the Republican party being formed to oppose slavery and Lincoln was a member of the Republican party.

Again, there is scant mention of third parties, which further erodes their status in the minds of children and parents, who might actually venture on to the web site for further exploration.

What’s even more disturbing is this publication is widely used across the nation in schools to help “educate” children on various subjects.  But how can this be when they don’t present all sides of a subject that is of crucial importance that affects all of us?  How can the children make effective decisions if they are only given choice A and B, but you leave out C, D, E, F and G?

This is really evident when you look at the page to register the student’s votes,  the only option is Obama, McCain and Other.  How can a child put a name for Other, when they most likely haven’t been informed of the other candidates?

That’s where it’s up to us, the parents, to inform our children and make sure that there are viable choices out there other than Democrats and Republicans, regardless of what others say.

I suggest those of you reading this post and care about fair elections and fair choices, contact Weekly Reader and let them know they dropped the ball.

OBAMA FIRES A ‘ROBIN HOOD’ WARNING SHOT

October 15th, 2008 . by admin

“Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” the blue-collar worker asked.

After Obama responded that it would, Wurzelbacher continued: “I’ve worked hard . . . I work 10 to 12 hours a day and I’m buying this company and I’m going to continue working that way. I’m getting taxed more and more while fulfilling the American Dream.”

What is interesting is that Obama says regarding a flat tax that it would need to be a 40% sales tax to “REPLACE” the revenue needed by government. One question: Why not REDUCE the size of government to make up for the losses?

Because that’s not what “planners” and socialists like to do.

Is our government becoming Socialist?

October 13th, 2008 . by Robert

I was recently asked, with the probable election of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, if we as a nation would descend into the depths of socialism?

First we need to consider exactly what socialism encompasses. Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society. We have state ownership of industries being implemented, we are seeing oversight agencies being proposed, and the transfer of wealth through taxation/tax credits/tax rebates with even more such proposals by the democrat and republican presidential candidates. Given those things taking place it’s not a far stretch to see this as the fruition of the progressive income tax, central banking, and the abdication of control of our money by congress with the creation of the Federal Reserve.

We are at a juncture in history where we are seeing firsthand the bloodless socialist takeover of industry and this nation. The transfer of wealth and the unconstitutional transfer of authority between the branches of government and various government and non-government agencies is blatant. The promises of the democrat and republican presidential candidates not only far exceed their rightful authority but are so economically outlandish that even brainwashed school children should see through them. Are we becoming a socialist nation – NO, I’m afraid we already are one.

Is there a best choice between the lesser of two evils or more appropriately the evil of two lessers? Not if you have any principles. The only choice for a principled individual is to make your vote count by casting it for either the Constitution Party Candidate – Chuck Baldwin or the Libertarian candidate – Bob Barr or even some other third party candidate. Sometimes standing on principle requires you to stand alone. You only throw your vote away when you vote for an evil or a lesser. Winning is little consolation when that winning team continues the downfall of a once great and still potentially great nation. A strong statement of disgust with the status quo demonstrated by voting for third party candidates will have a far greater effect than the media and politicians want us to believe.
